Opening the lab
I'm not a programmer. I can't write code, and I don't plan to pretend otherwise. That's the whole point of this place.
AI tools keep getting better, and I want to see how far they can take someone like me: an ordinary person with ideas, some free evenings and no technical background.
What's on the bench
The first experiment is Creepy Flyers, a small game in the style of the classic tap-to-fly games, with cartoon ghosts and friends. The ideas and drawings are mine; the code was written with AI.
The second is a series of short stories, written with a language model running on my own computer, that will become animated shorts of about five minutes each.
What this journal is for
I'll write down what I try, what works, what breaks and what I learn along the way, including the boring parts like domains, hosting and publishing. If you're curious about doing something similar, maybe it'll save you a few evenings.
Welcome to the lab. Mind the bubbling flasks.
